Here's a photo of Schindler, on the outside, in the Caruso Offy and Al Keller, on the inside, in the Turner # 17 Offy, going at it. This was taken at Cherry Park in Avon, CT.
The Caruso cars didn't only compete here in the east. This photo was taken at Soldier Field, in Chicago. Per the message with the photo, Schindler was DQ'd. For going too fast?
The Caruso cars were not always black or black and white, as you can see in this photo that was taken in 1939 at Roosevelt Raceway.
