This photo was taken after Schindler won the 150 mile midget race at the Langhorne Speedway, on June 12, 1949. Langhorne was a killer track, and most drivers could not go the distance in many of the races there, either dropping out, or getting relieved. Reading in the book about Langhorne, one has to wonder how Schindler was able to run the whole 150 miles without relief, especially with what they had to do to the car to keep it together.
