When the midgets died out, Mike Caruso decided to "Stretch" one of his midgets and make a Sprint Car out of it. He started out by still using the Offy midget engine, but added some superchargers to it.

So here are some photos of the Caruso Sprint Cars.

Stretched midget Super charged 110 C.I. Offenhauser Engine with Mercedes blower.		 In this photo, you can see a regular midget and one that was stretched. The stretched midget has a 110 cubic inch Offy engine with a Mercedes supercharger on it.
